Strawberry detox water weight loss recipe - No smoothie

Drinking water is good for you, but can get boring in no time. Especially in warm weather you want more than just plain water, a nice refreshing drink would be nice! Of course you want the juices and soft drinks.

We all know fruits are delicious, sweet and abundant, apart from the fact that they are healthy. Wouldn't it be nice if we could also flush the harmful toxins out of body and look slim and younger along the way?

Strawberries are not only tasty and healthy, but also have great detox effect (detoxifying). So while you are at work, sitting for your breakfast or just working on your tan, you can sip this drink.

Let's go about making this great drink to detox. I love this part - very easy to get the ingredients and make this thing :-)

You need

One of the best part about fruit/herb infused water is that taking action to get slim is so easy and without frills. You do not need special equipments, you do not have to step out or do crazy stuff. There is no fancy stuff that you need to arrange to make detox water.

Items in kitchen

  • A Mason Jar, a look-a-like or infusion pitcher
  • A sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • (Paper) straws

Ingredients for detox water infusion

  • 3-4 strawberries
  • half lime (organic)
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint
  • Water and ice cubes

How to make strawberry detox water

I use the Mason jar and cup. Make sure you as well cleaning the fruit and mint sprig. I leave the peel a bit, just for name sake, to sit around the lime - this part is full of vitamins.

Cut the lime into equal half slices and place at the bottom of the jar. Cut the strawberries in half and place these in the jar as well.

Add about 450 ml of water to add here a few ice cubes (optional) and the sprig of mint.

Put the whole thing for a few hours, or overnight, with the lid in the refrigerator so that it can extract the tasty flavor of the fruit in the water.

Please remember to drink your strawberry detox water within 24 hours if you plan to lose any serious weight, otherwise it loses vitamins. And that will be a shame.

This way of fruit infusion makes the water rich in vitamin C, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. In addition, lime is also good for the liver and can cause toxins leave your body more easily.

Do you want to get the nutrients, then grab a fork and eat the strawberries sitting over the drink.
